Alfredo is a distinguished Chilean engineer, academic, businessman, and politician, having served as Chile’s Minister of Foreign Affairs during President Sebastián Piñera’s first term (2010-2014), Minister of Social Development (2018-2019), and Minister of Public Works (2019-2022) in Piñera’s second term.
